Rose-ringed Parakeet: This large green parakeet has a pale red ring around the neck, black moustache stripe, pale blue nape, red eye ring and bill, long slender green tail with blue central feathers, and gray legs and feet. Female lacks head markings, and shorter tail is all green. Feeds on buds, fruit, vegetables and seeds. Fairly high rapid flight.

Budgerigar: Small parakeet, mostly green in its wild form and may have varying amounts blue, white, or yellow in feral U.S. populations. Has a characteristic pug face, and most have finely barred upperparts. Feeds primarily on grass seeds. Birds in a flock fly in a charecteristic undulating manner.

Rosy-faced Lovebird: Small green parrot with red front, pink throat and breast, and blue rump and tail. Has a narrow, white eyering, pale yellow bill, and gray legs and feet. Has pointed wings and short, square tail. Sexes similar. Juvenile duller overall. Fast, direct flight.
